Baltic Way Ride is a slow-travel motorcycle project, not a race. For me, safety is part of the pleasure of riding. One of the tools I use is the Motoairbag® airbag system, made in Italy and approved for road use in the EU.

Motoairbag® is a registered trademark o1f its respective owner.
This website is an independent project and is not the official Motoairbag® website.
What is Motoairbag®
Motoairbag® is an airbag system for motorcyclists, designed and manufactured in Italy. It is certified for road use and can be worn over your normal jacket. The system is mechanical (cable-activated), with very fast inflation when the rider is separated from the bike.
Why I use it on Baltic rides
The Baltic countries are beautiful, but we ride on mixed roads: forests, villages, road works, sometimes gravel.
I like:
extra protection for back and chest
a system that works even without batteries or electronics
a product that can be serviced and repaired in the EU

My role (what I do and what I don’t do)
I am in contact with Motoairbag® in Italy and I am interested in helping riders in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia to discover the product.
I am not the manufacturer and I do not give medical or legal advice.
What I can do:
- share my experience after using Motoairbag® on real trips
- help you understand which models could fit your style of riding
- assist with contacts for purchase or local distribution in the Baltic area
What I cannot do:
- modify the product
- guarantee protection in case of accident
- replace the official instructions or certifications from Motoairbag®
Models
Motoairbag V4
Motoairbag M1
